Hi Yayoi! Congratulations on creating your English blog! Why do you hate using the internet? I think it's a great way to connect with people around the world. Nina
Hi Yayoi, Sometimes I also have the same feeling about Internet and get away from it for a while but then I always come back t find wonderful possibilities, such as meeting you, a Japanese student of English in Maryland attending a course where a dear friend is involved.
Wishing you the best in your stay, Berta (Nina´s friend in Venezuela who is also an English teacher)
Welcome to the U.S. and congratulations on your blog. I look forward to reading more in it!
I enjoy using computers, but not always: sometimes I just have to get away from computers for a while. However, I agree with Nina-sensei, Hiromi, and Berta: the Internet can provide some wonderful ways of communicating. I have never met Nina-sensei, Hiromi, and Berta face-to-face, for example, but I feel as if I know all of them because I've read so many of their postings on the Internet. (I chatted with Nina-sensei earlier today, as a matter of fact.)
Best wishes during your stay in Maryland. I hope you have a wonderful time and have many new and memorable experiences!

Hello, Yayoi!
This is Hiromi, and I was there last year as a participant! It's nice to meet you. ^^
I hope blogging in the US will slowly make you like using the internet! I'm looking forward to reading about what you do in the US. ^^

Hi Yayoi! Many times the internet is a bit of a pain, but like Nina says it's a great way to connect with people all over the world!
